Bodywork begins
We’re at that stage on the ‘66 Mustang where you don’t see a lot of dramatic progress. Body and paint can be slow and tedious. Fenders have been spot repaired, one rear quarter straightened and primed, and the other quarter? Well, it’s gone. Virtually all aftermarket replacements are stamped in Taiwan. There’s a lot of trial fitting, remove, adjust, trim, modify, back on, rinse, repeat. Eventually, we’ll get it to fit and align with everything as it should.
