Interior paint resto

The metal dash frame on the '66 Mustang is an integral part of the car and cannot be removed. The Original black paint was definitely showing its age so once all the switches and accessories are removed we mask it off (and cover everything inside and out) and spray fresh coats of landau black to restore the appearance. The factory painted the inside of the a-pillars to match too so they get painted as well. The steering column and inside of the doors will get the same treatment.

Fresh black paint makes it look as good or better than the day it was born.

Meanwhile the original chromed heater controls get cleaned up and detailed to look like new. Switch bezels are embossed with words that were originally black. That detail disappeared over the years so we put it back with a small brush and paint. Attention to even small details makes a difference in the end.

You don't see cool stuff like this in today's cars.

The various switches, like this ignition switch bezel, are embossed with words. The paint within has long faded so a little paint with a brush makes them readable again.

Even the old ash tray, which was pretty nasty and grungy looking, gets blasted and refinished inside and out.
